E-Petitions are online forms of request to the House of Commons, the Government of Canada, a Minister of the Crown, or a Member of the House of Commons to take some action. It is important the issues in critical need of oversight by the government are not ignored and handled with due process.

About the E-Petition

Following the peaceful walk of June 17th, 2016 we are now looking to move forward and exhaust all measures to ensure our issue is heard.

We (the undersigned) ask the federal government to exercise its oversight of the National Capital Commission (NCC) by placing an immediate moratorium on any plans to commercially develop the historic sacred site called Asinabka by the Algonquin peoples of the Ottawa Valley, and comprising the Chaudiere Falls and Chaudiere and Albert Islands.
